This session helps train the brain to produce more of the rhythms that are important to sleep: SMR waves.
It has been noted by EEG researchers that insomniacs tend to have a particular lack of SMR waves, so the idea behind this session is to train the brain to produce more of these rhythms and therefore help train the brain to fall asleep – and stay asleep – on its own.
